Unfortunately, "Chaos and Amber" also dimmed my hopes that this trilogy would ever evoke the same mystery and wonder that I felt when I read Zelazny's original 'Amber' series. How brave to take on the world of Zelazny's Amber; but I was delighted with the result John Betancourt has produced. His portrail of Chaos of admirable enough to make me feel quite sea sick whilst reading 'The Dawn of Amber'and the adventure continues, My only complaint is that it is taking far too long to complete 'The Sword of Amber'which finishes the story.
